This will be followed by a powerful panel discussion exploring the mental health crisis impacting veterinary professionals nationwide.

About the Film:
The Weight They Carry takes viewers inside the emotionally demanding world of veterinary medicine through the lens of Dr. Kathy Gervais, a compassionate veterinarian whose story reveals that it's not just our pets whose lives are at stake. This eye-opening short film gives voice to the emotional toll carried by so many in the profession. We want to inform you in advance that this documentary includes discussion of mental health and suicide in veterinary medicine. We understand these can be vulnerable topics to broach, and want to ensure you feel safe and supported.
